Gyroor Founder-led project

Building a complete direct-to-consumer platform for a growing electric-mobility brand.

Gyroor offers electric scooters, trikes, electric bikes, hoverboards and related mobility products through a brand-owned online store. The project involved creating a complete e-commerce website capable of presenting a growing product range while supporting product discovery, comparison, education and online purchasing.

The website was developed as a founder-led project by Pui Lun Li (Jan) in 2025, drawing on his experience in international e-commerce, digital marketing and the development of product-focused online businesses.

The business

Gyroor serves customers looking for practical and recreational electric-mobility products, including solutions for commuting, family use, personal transportation and carrying pets or cargo.

Its online store brings several product categories together within one branded environment. Visitors can browse by intended use and product type, review specifications, compare models and access customer reviews, supporting content and post-purchase information. The current website includes electric scooters, electric trikes and bikes, hoverboards, children's products, accessories and customer-support resources.

Project focus

As the brand's product range expanded, the website needed to function as more than a basic online catalogue. It required a clear structure capable of organizing multiple categories, communicating technical product information and guiding customers toward the appropriate product.

The project focused on creating a complete direct-to-consumer environment that could connect brand presentation, product discovery, merchandising, supporting content and online purchasing through one consistent customer journey.

Our role

Pui Lun Li (Jan) led the complete website project, including the overall e-commerce direction, website structure, customer journey, visual presentation, product-category organization and implementation.

The work covered the principal areas required to establish the online store, from planning how customers would navigate the product range through to developing the pages and functions needed to support product evaluation and purchase.

Fotoconic does not claim the photography, articles or promotions currently shown on the live website. The site may have continued to develop after the original project.

How the work was approached

01
Organizing the product portfolio

The website architecture was developed around distinct mobility categories so customers could begin with the type of product most relevant to their needs. Navigation and collection structures provide clear entry points into scooters, trikes, bikes, hoverboards and supporting accessories.

02
Supporting product evaluation

Product pages were structured to communicate practical information such as specifications, intended use, available configurations and product benefits. Customer reviews and supporting material provide additional information for visitors comparing products.

03
Connecting commerce and content

The website combines product merchandising with educational and supporting content. This allows customers to move between product discovery, product information, brand content, customer reviews and support resources without leaving the branded environment.

04
Preparing for continuing growth

The platform was structured to accommodate additional products, categories, promotional activity and content as the business developed.

Gyroor shop-by-category grid: cargo scooters, kids scooters, balancing scooters and electric trike
Shop By Categories gives each mobility type its own entry point, so customers begin from the kind of product they need rather than a single undifferentiated catalogue.
Gyroor navigation with the hoverboard menu open, showing sub-categories and featured models
Category navigation opens into sub-categories with featured models, letting customers move between product families without leaving the page they are on.
Gyroor C1S product page with gallery thumbnails, pricing, payment options and model selection
Product pages combine the image gallery, pricing, payment options and model selection in one column, with specifications continuing below.
Gyroor product carousel filtered by category, each model showing price, rating and key specifications
Range sections let customers filter by product type and compare models on price, rating and headline specifications side by side.
Gyroor reviews section with rating summary, written reviews and customer photographs
Customer reviews and owner photographs sit within the product page, so evaluation happens in the same place as the purchase decision.

The completed outcome

The completed project provided Gyroor with a substantial brand-owned e-commerce environment capable of presenting and selling a broad range of electric-mobility products.

Rather than relying only on individual marketplace listings, the website creates a direct destination where customers can explore the product range, understand differences between models, review specifications and customer feedback, access supporting content and complete a purchase within one connected experience.

The current platform also provides a foundation for continuing product launches, campaigns, educational content and customer-support activity.
